Lemurian Aquatine Calcite is also known as Blue Argentinian Calcite, Argentinian Blue Onyx and Argentinian Aquamarine Onyx, as the main source of this stone comes from (as you can probably guess) Argentina. This unique stone is named after a mythical continent called “Lemuria” which was thought to have sunk into the Indian Ocean. The name of this particular calcite probably came about because of its distinct ocean blue and tan bands, denoting a strong land/water connection.
Sometimes called the ‘sobriety stone’ Lemurian Aquatine Calcite is thought to strengthen willpower, help control negative thinking and raise self-awareness.
Both malas are made with 6mm, high-quality, natural Lemurian Aquatine Calcite stones, metal beads located at the quarter marks to aid in meditation, and luxe, 3.5" silky tassels.
